Nick Harrison has vast experience in Commercial Finance in all its guises.
Before setting up Bespoke Business Finance Nick held a number of Senior Management positions with NatWest. For in excess of 30 years Nick’s career entirely comprised commercial lending roles both in Head Office and at the front line.
These included Senior Credit Manager for the South East of England, Senior Branch Management and heading up both Croydon and Kingston Business Centres. He also was involved in the setting up and Management of one of the first major Lending Centres in the UK.
Since leaving NatWest he has put together numerous finance packages of all types and sizes with a range of providers. Nick employs a practical approach to structuring finance arrangements in a way that works well both for both the client and the funder.
An Associate of The Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB) he also undertaken a number of Business Advisory roles
During his 20 years with NatWest Jamie specialized in Corporate Banking and more latterly property related lending. Spells in the Bank's Corporate Banking Offices and Head Office Lending Departments in and around South East London provided Jamie with vast experience in the Start Up, SME markets and property sectors.
In 2001 Jamie was approached by Bank of Scotland in May 2001 to establish from scratch Bank of Scotland's Franchise Department. Having successfully launched and then managed this initiative for the Bank in 2005 he decided to practice what he had preached for so many years and moved into self employment with Bespoke Business Finance.
Six years ago, jointly with a friend, Jamie also established a contract catering start-up business. Under Jamie's management this business employed six full time staff and had an annual turnover in excess of £250,000. In 2006 Jamie sold his shareholding to concentrate his time and efforts solely on Bespoke Business Finance.
Steve has worked in the banking industry since graduating from university in 1997.
During that time Steve has worked for the commercial and corporate banking divisions of HSBC Bank PLC and Clydesdale Bank until he joined the Bespoke team in 2011.
Steve has established a very successful and varied client base that includes professional student accommodation providers, care home operators, children's nursery's and a number of high net worth property investors and developers.
Stuart has 15 years experience within the Asset Based Lending (ABL) industry encompassing business development and portfolio management roles.
Initially joining Barclays Bank Plc in 1997 in a portfolio assistant role, Stuart gained several promotions within the organisation and spent the latter few years within the mid-corporate sales team in Central London specialising in structuring new Confidential Invoice Discounting, Factoring and Inventory finance deals.
Stuart left to join GMAC Commercial Finance Plc in 2006 to further his skills within the complex ABL industry before being recruited by Clydesdale Bank Plc in late 2007 to cover several offices within London and the South East as an Invoice Finance specialist.
Stuart has an extensive network within the Invoice Finance and ABL industries and has access to a wide range of lenders in order to secure funding for our clients in a professional and timely manner.
A career banker with NatWest, Alan retired in 2011 following over 40 years’ service with the Bank.
In that time, his career spanned many roles, including over 10 years in a number of the Bank’s Credit functions, initially as a Senior Analyst and then as an Underwriter, principally dealing with lending to the business sector, ranging in size from SME’s through to major UK PLC’s and International corporates.
He was also a Senior Relationship Manager working in the Bank’s Commercial arm for many years, running a portfolio of over 50 business clients at any one time each with annual turnover exceeding £3m+.
The above roles have enabled Alan to build up a vast experience in the Commercial Business sector, which he continues to put to excellent use in the company, having joined us upon his retirement from NatWest.
He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers.
Mike spent 34 years with Barclays prior to joining Bespoke Business Finance in 2016.
Mike has extensive experience in commercial finance which has been gained from undertaking a full range of roles within Barclays Business and Barclays Corporate. As a Relationship Director, Mike was the primary contact for a portfolio of 50 clients, each delivering an annual turnover of up to £25m and with borrowing facilities of up to £10m.
Mike likes to focus on truly understanding his clients, building strong relationships and introducing the right solutions at the right time. A keen networker, Mike adopts a selfless approach in sharing contacts and helping others. He is actively involved in the business community, supporting the local Chamber of Commerce in an informal capacity."
